The NETWORK ENSEMBLE is a crashcore sound project by the DEMYSTIFICATION COMMITTEE, using network data as a medium. The NETWORK ENSEMBLE consists of hardware able to translate data packets captured from local wireless networks into sonic signals and software able to further modulate these signals. Through these tools, and under the moniker of NETWORK ENSEMBLE, a number of sound performances have been carried out since 2016, exploring the operational layer and activity of wireless local networks.
